Creating an admin

Before you need someone to fill in for you during an absence, define at least two people who can manage logins, whether as an admin for access to web applications or as a tenant admin for managing AEB accounts.

How do I become an admin for managing logins to web applications?

One person is assigned by the company to manage logins to web applications in the AEB data center.

How do I become a tenant admin for managing AEB accounts?

A tenant admin is initially defined for each tenant. Additionally, you can assign the tenant admin role right away when you create a new AEB account or later to an existing AEB account.

• Before you need someone to fill in for you during an absence, be sure to assign the tenant admin role to at least one other person at your company.

1. Log in with your AEB account at the AEB Home.
2. In the Administration section, click Manage logins to open the access management for AEB accounts.
3. Under Accounts, click on the account to which you wish to assign the tenant admin role.
4. Click the pencil icon to edit the existing AEB account.
5. Select the tenant admin option.
6. Click Save.
   • The tenant admin role is a top-level role. All other roles are system-specific and created by assigning system access rights. (How do I assign system access rights?)
