Configuring personalized notification texts

Notification texts can be configured in various languages deviating from the standard. You can even define various texts for each language with different information for different recipients, for example.

• You must have admin rights, e.g. I_CLIENTADMIN.
1. Go to Master data – Notification messages.
2. Click the New button or open an existing notification text from the overview. If required, select the type of the notification text.
3. Enter the required data. For a new notification text, follow the Assistant prompts.
   • Use the Context and Event fields to define whether the notification text should be restricted to specific transactions or objects and the related events.
   • Use the Default language field to define the language in which the notification text should be sent if no text has been defined for the language of the recipient.
4. In the Templates field group, click New.
5. Uncheck the Use standard text box and enter one or more notification texts.
6. Click the Apply button.
7. Enable the Released checkbox so that the notification texts can be used for notifications.
8. Finish by clicking Save & Close.
