Creating and editing templates for import declaration items

You can accelerate the process of entering items of import declarations by creating templates for items with certain data already filled in. You can create a new template using the data from an existing import declaration item or independently of any existing items.

Proceed as follows to create a template from an existing import declaration item

1. Open an item. From the Item menu, click Save as template.
   • A new item template appears. Click on the Edit item template link to edit the item data.
2. Fill in any other fields you wish to define, then click Save & Close.

Proceed as follows to create a template for import declaration items without any preassigned data

1. Go to Master data and click on Templates – Imp. decl. templates, then New item template.
2. Select a type of declaration, then click OK.
3. Click Edit item template and enter the corresponding data.
4. Finish by clicking Save & Close.
