Belgian Customs have announced that AES CERTEX will go live in the AES production environment from 30 September 2025 at 10:00 with pre-validation checks, and they give the following information:
What is to be checked
- If all the required additional documents (i.e. Y123, Y161..) have been added per HS-code.
- If the supplied contents are correct: If a registration number is added, ensure that only that number is added, no combination with EORI or additional information).
- That any quantities that have been added are in the correct format: Weights and quantities should use a decimal point, not a comma.
What will not be checked (yet)
- Whether the quantity you are referring to is still open and available on the DG TAXUD portal. (This check is foreseen at a later stage).

In the case that your AES declarations are blocked, please make sure that your master data is corrected accordingly and that you have checked this procedure before logging tickets to the AES helpdesk.
