Determining the Origin & Preferences (O&P) operating location
Check whether you are running O&P in the AEB data center (cloud) or on-premises:
- Open the client and go to the "Connection" tab.
- If the URL contains rz4.aeb.de, you are running O&P in the AEB data center. The service pack will be installed automatically by AEB.
- Otherwise, O&P is installed on-premises at your company. You are responsible for downloading and installing service packs.
Host system
-
Add-on for SAP®, version 2.3: Schedule the import of an SAP transport for the beginning of January 2026. This is necessary in order to be able to use the new origin texts on the invoice.
Important: The transport only contains texts. This is not a function update and therefore NO complete update of the AEB add-ons for SAP is required. - Add-on for SAP®, version 3.0: You do not have to do anything. The current origin texts for your invoices in SAP will be provided by AEB on January 1, 2026.
- Other host systems: If your company uses a host system other than the add-on for SAP from AEB (e.g. proAlpha), check and adapt the interface if necessary. The threshold file was extended with the November service pack 2024 for O&P.

Commodity codes
Check whether you transfer the commodity codes of the materials to O&P.
You will need this information during the execution of the widget in the software to avoid resetting the evaluations of the corresponding goods.
Comparison of the list rules
Compare the new and old list rules for your main products.
- Use the comparison options at wup.zoll.de (German only).
- Check whether you will still need manually created rules in the future.
