For shipments exported from Austria to Switzerland, the Austrian customs administration has required a separate notification to Austrian customs offices of exit for export declarations since 17 December 2025.
- Please note: It is not possible to submit a notification to Austrian customs offices of exit from the national export systems of other Member States, such as the German ATLAS system or the French DELTA system.
In Austria, the participant must send the arrival notification (IE507) to the customs office of exit at the point of exit. According to the Austrian customs administration, Austrian customs will no longer issue export confirmations after 17 December 2025.
If you use Customs Management for exports in Austria, you have the option of ticking the “Use arrival at exit flow” box on the export declaration, Customs details tab. This sends the IE507 message to the Austrian customs office of exit.
- Notification via transport service provider: Alternatively, contact your transport service provider so that they can create the arrival notification for the customs office of exit in the Austrian Customs Clearance System (ACCS).
Changes from April 2026
It is expected that, from 1 April 2026, shipment registration for exports and shipping processes will be digitised via the Vorarlberg corridor traffic system, meaning that electronic advance notifications will also be required.
- The Austrian customs administration provides information on this on its website: Zoll Korridorverkehr Vorarlberg.
- The Swiss Customs Administration provides information on joint corridor transport in a letter dated 8 December 2025.
