Within the easy mode of Export Filing: CHIEF, AEB offers one standard template on header and on item level. These templates are specifically tailored to the export of low-risk goods in so-called "roll-on roll-off" (RoRo) traffic via one of the officially listed/certified customs clearance locations. The locations for the use of RoRo traffic can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/uk-trade-tariff-freight-location-codes/freight-location-codes#roll-on-roll-off-location-codes-only-available-for-use-from-1-january-2021.
Low risk goods are basically all types of goods that are not dangerous, hazardous, prohibited, or require export licenses of any kind. All goods classified as “controlled” are listed here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/list-of-goods-imported-into-great-britain-from-the-eu-that-are-controlled?utm_source=1401f1eb-5c68-4c82-9a53-ab56678662f8&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=govuk-notifications&utm_content=immediate.
- Please do not delete or change any data entered in the AEB standard templates as they are specifically tailored to the use case of RoRo traffic. If template content is changed, it might not behave in the defined way. Instead, if you have changed data in a declaration, please save this as a new template and apply it if necessary.
