Status chain of an EMCS movement (discharge)

Submitted

After the consignor submitted the EMCS movement, you received the validated e-AD/e-SAD (customs message C_EAD_VAL) from the office of destination.

You may already have entered discrepancies.

Sent

You have sent the report of receipt (E_DEL_DAT) to customs and are waiting for a response.

Completed

You have received a response to your report of receipt from customs; the EMCS movement was finished without errors and is therefore complete.

Delayed

You have received a reminder from the customs office due to a missed deadline (E_EXC_REM).

Shortage/excess

You can send the customs office explanations for shortages/excesses (message C_SHR_EXP), which customs will then validate and confirm.

Explanation sent

You have responded to a reminder by sending the customs office an explanation for the delay (C_DEL_EXP).

Invalid

The EMCS movement was canceled and is therefore invalid.
