Adding US-ITAR-specific information to licenses

In US-ITAR-specific licenses, the following fields or goods attributes are available to you in addition:

• Goods attribute US ITAR Commodity Type
• Goods attribute US ITAR Defense Article Type
• Goods attribute US Security Classification
• USML number

Depending on the settings you have defined in the license type, further fields are available to you:

• Ultimate destination
• For DSP61: Reason and route for temporary imports
• Updates sheet

Proceed as follows:

• The checkboxes you need regarding US ITAR must be marked in the required license type.
• If you need US Security Classifications, the necessary values must be maintained in the master data − Compliance − Value lists with the ID US_SECURITY_CLASS_STD.
• If you need US ITAR Defense Article Types, the necessary values must be maintained in the master data − Compliance − Value lists with the ID US_ITAR_DEFENSE_ARTICLE_TYPE_STD.
• If you need US ITAR Commodity Types, the necessary values must be maintained in the master data − Compliance − Value lists with the ID US_ITAR_COMM_TYPE_STD.
• If you need USML numbers, the necessary values must be maintained in the master data − Compliance − Goods lists with the ID USML_STD.
1. Go to License Management − Licenses and click New.
   • The Select license type for new license... window opens.
2. Select a license type for US ITAR licenses.
3. Fill in all the necessary fields.
4. Specify information on a temporary import: Fill in the fields on the License sheet, Temporary import field group.
5. Specify information on the Ultimate Destination: Fill in the field on the License sheet, Ultimate Destination field group.
6. Finally, the Assistant helps you activate the license.
