If you have received permission from your customs office to transport excise goods, enter the details in the master data of EMCS Filing.
- From the Office menu, go to Master Data > EMCS licenses.
- Click the New button to add a new license.

In the new window, first select the type of authorisation.
The following authorisations are available for the transport of excise goods where the excise duty has already been paid in the Member State of departure:
- Certified consignor
- Temporary certified consignor
- Certified consignee
- Temporary certified consignee
The following permits are available for the transport of excise goods under suspension of excise duty:
- Tax warehouse keeper
- Tax warehouse
- Registered consignee
- Registered consignee in individual case
- Registered consignor

Fill in the mandatory fields for License no., License holder, Main cust. office and Valid from date.
The license holder can be selected directly from the company master data if they have the appropriate role. Alternatively, you can create them using the pencil icon, but in this case the company will not appear in the master data.
Do you have a new excise duty number?
- To ensure that customs messages can be transmitted to the AEB application, you must submit an IT service provider application to the General Customs Directorate in advance for each new excise duty number.
