NCTS5: What Changes to Data Fields and Groups Have Been Made for Arrivals?

With the migration of NCTS4 to NCTS Phase 5, multiple changes to data fields and groups have been introduced.

New Data Fields

The new data fields for arrivals include:

• Authorizations
• Incident code
• Incident location of goods
• Incident transshipment (container, type of identification)
• Location of goods

Deleted Data Fields

The following data fields for arrivals have been removed:

• Arrival notification place
• Arrival agreed location of goods text field
• En-route event data group
• Incident transshipment (endorsement date/authority/place/country)

New Code Lists

Modified code lists for arrivals include:

• Authorization type
• Incident code
• Location type
• Location qualifier
• Type of identification or transport means
