Limitations of the IDMS System

As published by BE Customs, IDMS will NOT support the following scenarios upon go-live:

• H1: Declaration for end use (procedure 44)
• H2: Declaration for customs warehousing with warehouse type S (see goods accounting)
• H5: Declaration for the introduction of goods from special fiscal territories
• H6: Declaration in postal traffic for release for free circulation
• Declaration types U and V
• Quota
• Specific topics that cannot be handled by Tarbel
• Additional codes
• The codes starting with R, T, V are excluded (excises)
• 0601 and 0602 are excluded (excises)
• 1190 military equipment (linked to measures for PLDA)
• Commodity code
• Chapters 72 and 73 (safeguard duties: until quota used in IDMS (preference *20))
• 1001990013 and 1001990015 are excluded (caution on common wheat (ZTB)) + country of origin - 0707141000, BR (additional duties for poultry with origin BR)
• Supporting documents
• C645 - military equipment
