To enable a direct HTTPS connection between the SAP system and the AEB data center, you need the ‘Root-SSL’ and ‘Intermediate’ certificates issued by AEB.
- Please note: As of March 8, 2023, the "Non-EV Intermediate" (DigiCert SHA2 Secure Server CA) and "Non-EV Root" (DigiCert Global Root CA) certificates used up to now will no longer apply.
Therefore, check the included SSL certificates in the STRUST transaction. The certificates are included under SSL-CLIENT (standard), if you set them up via SOAMANAGER, also check SSL-CLIENT (anonymous).
Furthermore, the following certificates are required for your add-ons for SAP:
Certificate | Link |
EV Root | https://www.digicert.com/CACerts/DigiCertHighAssuranceEVRootCA.crt |
EV Intermediate | https://www.digicert.com/CACerts/DigiCertSHA2ExtendedValidationServerCA.crt |
For information on the currently used certificates, see the Help Center article Hostnames and used certificates of AEB data centers. For more information, see the installation and configuration guide for your application. This is available for you to download from the AEB service portal.
