Interrupted movement

A movement interruption (customs message C_STP_NOT) is used if a movement is interrupted due to special circumstances before completion by a participating member state. Reasons for such an interruption of the movement might be an accident during transport or the loss of the goods.

• The persons that have been designated before will then receive an email. Each email contains a link to the corresponding movement. To configure the email settings, refer to the section Configuring email notifications in EMCS Filing.

Proceed as follows:

• The Events Desktop widget shows that an EMCS movement has been interrupted.
1. Go to the Events widget and click the 1 interrupted movement link.
   • This displays an overview of EMCS movements that in the last 14 days have received an interruption of movement awaiting your confirmation.
2. Open one of these EMCS movements.
   • Here you will see the Interruption of movement sheet.
3. Check the information on the Interruption of movement sheet.
4. Click the Confirm interruption of movement link in the Assistant and confirm the interruption in the window that opens.
