AES Exports: Goods Location Fields

In an AES export declaration, Goods location information (previously known in PLDA as authorized and agreed goods location) is entered as detailed below. 

UN/LO code (UN/LOCODE field) 

• All location codes used in PLDA are considered UN/LO codes. These will be gradually phased out and replaced by new location codes.

Type of location (Type field)

• A - Designated location
• B - Authorized location
• C - Approved place
• D - Other

Qualifier of identification (Qualifier field)

• T - Postal code
• U - UN/LOCODE
• V - Customs office identifier
• W - GNSS coordinates
• X - EPROI number
• Z - Free text
