For AES exports there are new mandatory fields and / or new rules and conditions that apply which must be met in order for the declaration to achieve the 'ready to declare' status.
Departure Transport Means
This information has been restructured and now allows multiple entries to be listed.
- Type of identification (Type) - new data element
- 10 - IMO ship identification number
- 11 - Name of the sea-going vessel
- 20 - Wagon number
- 21 - Train number
- 30 - Registration number of the road vehicle
- 31 - Registration number of the road trailer
- 40 - IATA flight number
- 41 - Registration number of the aircraft
- 80 - European Vessel Identification Number (ENI code)
- 81 - Name of the inland waterways vessel
- Identification of transport means (Identifier)
- Nationality of transport means (Nationality)
Border Transport Means
- Type of identification (Means Type border) - New data element
- 10 - IMO ship identification number
- 11 - Name of the sea-going vessel
- 21 - Train number
- 30 - Registration number of the road vehicle
- 40 - IATA flight number
- 41 - Registration number of the aircraft
- 80 - European Vessel Identification Number (ENI code)
- 81 - Name of the inland waterways vessel
- Identification of transport means (Means border ID)
- Nationality of transport means (Nat. means border)
Transport Equipment
Details concerning containers have moved from item level (container ID) to header level, with Seals now integrated into the Transport equipment section.
If the Containers checkbox is ticked, then data for a container must be entered. (The Containers checkbox is located on the Export declaration tab, in the Presentation to customs section).
