Changes to Customs Details Fields for NCTS5 (DVA) Transit Departures

The following changes have been made to data fields on the Customs details tab (header level) of a transit departure declaration.

Security details

In the Security details section, there is now a Security field to enter the security flag of the declaration, with the following values available:

• 0 - Not used for safety and security purposes
• 1 - ENS
• 2 - EXS
• 3 - ENS & EXS

The Place of loading and Place of unloading fields have moved to the Security details section of the Customs details tab.

Location of goods

In the Location of goods section, a Type and Qualifier are now required.

Special procedure authorization

If you are using special procedures, an authorization is required. This must be added in your Master data first, and can then be selected from the list. See: How do I enter authorizations into Master data.
