How do I enter Guarantee Information on a DVA Transit Declaration?

Entering Guarantee information

Guarantee information, including the Guarantee amount, can be entered on the Finances tab of the transit declaration.

Click the New button to create fields for entering the guarantee data.

Guarantee Calculation for Declarations that Contain Mixed Consignments

The Customs Management system does not calculate the guarantee amount for declarations that are transitioned to declarations with header level declaration type 'T' and item level declarations that have a mixture of declaration types.

If fitting this criteria, there are 2 options:

• 1. Create separate deliveries based on the different declaration types, e.g. declaration type 'T1' only has delivery items which are 'T1' declarations, and declaration type 'T2' only has delivery items which are 'T2' declarations.

Or

• 2. Transition a consignment that has mixed declaration types, but make sure that the guarantee template is not applied during transition. Once the declarations have been created, manually apply the guarantee template to calculate the guarantee amount.
