With the migration to AES Plus, the ability to submit pre-lodged declarations has been implemented. As part of this feature, you may receive an IE5TR message, which is sent from customs, and informs the declarant that customs have dictated where and when the goods should be presented to customs. We advise that email notifications are configured so that you are notified if/when this message is received.
To configure notifications, follow the steps below:
Ensure a User is Configured to Receive Emails
- Go to the Office menu > User administration > E-mail notifications.
- Click New, enter the email address, language, and tick the Messages box, then click Save & close.
Configure the Email Notification Message when an IE5TR Message is Received
- Go to the Office menu, select Master data > Notification messages.
- Click New and select E-mail as the type.
- Enter details
- The Code can be entered as required (in this example IE5TR is used)
- The Released box should be ticked
- Context should be 'Export declaration PL'
- Event should be 'Presentation information received'
- In the Templates section, click New.
- Select the required Language, tick Use standard text, and then click Apply.
- When done, click Save & close.
Configure the Notification
- Go to the Office menu > Master data > Notification config.
- Click New and enter the details.
- Code can be the same one that was used for the notification message
- Context should be 'Export declaration (PL)'
- Active should be ticked
- In the Notifications section, click New.
- Type should be 'E-mail'
- Event should be 'Presentation information received'
- Replies to should be 'Person in charge'
- In the Recipients section, click New, then enter the recipients details and click OK.
- Click Apply, then Save & Close.
