Generate reports (SPIRE reports) to the licensing authorities

SPIRE is used for mandatory reporting on the use or non-use of licenses to the British Export Control Organisation (ECO). With License Management UK jurisdiction you can generate SPIRE reports and SPIRE Nil Return reports for this purpose.

Proceed as follows to generate a report:

• The license that serves as the basis for the approval must be marked as Notification required on the License sheet.
1. Select License Management − Approvals.
2. Go to Reports – Generate SPIRE report.
   • The SPIRE report window opens. The preselected approvals are displayed here.
   • To generate a SPIRE Nil Return Report, go to Reports – Generate SPIRE Nil Return report instead.
3. If necessary, you can adjust the filter criteria or open individual approvals and correct the data.
4. Click Generate.
   • The SPIRE report window opens.
5. Select the scope of the export (all rows or only selected rows) and click Generate.
   • The File download window opens.
6. Select the path where you want to save the file and click Save.

• The report is generated in MS Excel and stored under the selected path.
