Pickups can be detected automatically or manually.
How to configure automatic pickup detection
- Go to Master data – Carrier configurations to open the carrier configuration.
- Under Strategy for detecting pickup – Find pickup, select Different. Then select the relevant strategy and possibly an additional date criterion. You will find helpful information in the tables below.
- If you want new shipping orders to always be assigned to the oldest open pickup, select the strategy Different – Per shipping point, then the date criterion of None. The dispatch date of the shipping order is now disregarded. The oldest open pickup is used.
- Save the carrier configuration.

How to configure manual pickup detectiong
- Go to Master data – Carrier configurations to open the carrier configuration.
- Under Strategy for detecting pickup – Find pickup, select Different – None to disable automatic strategy detection.
- Save the carrier configuration.
- When a shipping order has been assigned to a pickup, the shipping order status changes to “Assigned.”
