Opening shipping orders for users in read-only mode

It is possible to define at the user level how a shipping order opens (from the overview, for example): in edit mode or read-only mode. In read-only mode, the shipping order is not locked, so no conflicts will arise if another user is simultaneously trying to assign the same shipping order to a pickup or edit it.

Proceed as follows:

• You must have the I_CLIENTADMIN role.
1. Go to User administration – Users and open the user.
2. Switch to the Package processing (User) sheet. Under Display settings – Open SO, select Read-only.
3. Save & close the user.

• You can also change the default to Read-only under the client settings (User administration – Clients – Clients).
