Assigning a mapping table to a template

To use a mapping table in a declaration, you must assign it to the template of your choice.

The following step-by-step instruction describes the use case for assigning a mapping table to an export declaration template. The process is the same for any other templates that you have configured in your system (e.g. import or transit declaration templates).

• To apply this template automatically throughout the filing process, you need to configure a template selector, see Defining template selectors.

• You have created the mapping table, see Creating a mapping table.
1. Go to Master data – Templates – Exp. decl. templates and open the template of your choice.
2. On the Export declaration template sheet, go to the Dynamic value initialization field group and click New.
3. In the Dynamic value initialization window, select the Mapping table entry and click OK.
4. In the Mapping table window, select the mapping table of your choice in the Initials field and click OK.
5. Click Save & Close.
