Mapping tables allow you to specify values for certain fields more precisely and flexibly. This refers to the values that are complemented with the help of templates during data transfer from a host system. For example, you can define a specific customs office of exit based on the country of export and the country of destination.
- Go to Master data – Templates – Mapping tables and click New.
- Select a mapping table type (e.g. “Customs office of exit) and click OK.
- Fill in all relevant fields on the Mapping table sheet.
- Switch to the Mapping entries sheet and insert new entries manually or use the Import button to import data.
- Save and close your settings.
- As a next step, you need to assign your mapping table to a template, see Assigning a mapping table to a template.
