You can define the following additional values in UK-specific licenses:
- Sector of business partner or country
- End-user type of business partner
- Codes for the export declaration to customs in the NES procedure
- Goods attribute UK Security Classification
- UK export control number
Proceed as follows:
- The UK specifics checkbox must be marked in the license type.
- If you need sectors, the necessary values must be maintained in the master data − Compliance − Value lists with the ID GB_SECTOR_STD.
- If you need end-user types, the necessary values must be maintained in the master data − Compliance − Value lists with the ID GB_ENDUSERTYPE_STD.
- If you need NES codes, the necessary values must be maintained in the master data − Compliance − Value lists with the IDs GB_AI_DOCCODE_STD and GB_DOCSTATUS_STD.
- If you need UK Security Classifications, the necessary values must be maintained in the master data − Compliance − Value lists with the ID GB_SECURITY_CLASS_STD.
- If you need UK export control numbers, the necessary values must be maintained in the master data − Compliance − Goods lists with the ID GBECL_STD.
- Go to License Management − Licenses and click New.
- The Select license type for new license... window opens.
- Select the license type for which the UK specifics box has been checked.
- Now fill in the fields as usual.
- You can select sectors in the Countries (Sectors column) and Business partners (Business partners data record, Sector field) sheets. In the Business partners data record, you can also find the End-user type field.
- In an OIEL license, the Assistant will also prompt you to fill out the Sector field.
Once you have maintained sectors on the Countries sheet, the Assistant will compare the information on sectors on the Countries and Business partners sheets and will notify you of deviations.
- In an OIEL license, the Assistant will also prompt you to fill out the Sector field.
- On the Customs / Shipping documents sheet, you can specify information on NES codes in the Code for customs export declarations field group.
- Depending on the license type, maintain a list of goods attributes or a list of items to described the licensed goods or activities as detailed as possible.
- Finally, the Assistant helps you activate the license.
