Requirements for creating a subscription:
- You have the I_CLIENTADMIN role. If no user in your company has this role yet, please request it from AEB Support.
If you would like to receive data extracts from the application on a regular basis, you have the option of setting up a subscription.
- Go to Office > Master data > Data subscriptions and then click the New button. If you want to edit an existing data subscription, click Activate change mode in the top right-hand corner of the open subscription record.
- Assign an Abbreviation and add a Description.
- Select the Start object. Depending on this selection, appropriate data extract definitions will be displayed.
-
Under Period settings, specify the frequency of data extracts (Periodization), the Start date and the waiting time (days). Depending on the periodisation selected, fixed start times are provided. For a monthly data extract, the start date can only be on the 1st of the month. If necessary, use a waiting period to alter the date. E.g. if the data extract is always to be created on the 16th of the month, enter 15 in the Waiting times (days) field.
Note the Date used. This field determines which point in time, of the process, is to be used. You can choose between:
- Entry time
- Decisive date
- Date of release
-
If required, switch to the Free filter tab and create a filter to restrict the objects for the data subscription. For example, you can specify that only customs declarations with certain properties should be included in the data subscription.
Details on the buttons can be found in the Import Filing: ATLAS user guide (available in German) under the ‘Working with views and complex filters’ section.
- On the Notifications tab, you can specify which individuals should be notified when new subscription files are available. To do this, enter Email addresses or specify a User.
-
Save your details by clicking the Save & close button.
To test, select Run subscription now from the Data subscriptions menu in the Data subscriptions overview.
When a subscription has been generated, the application sends an email or notifies the registered user via an entry in the assistant column. These messages contain links to download the subscription files that have been created.
To obtain the data extracts, open the data subscription via one of these links and go to the Subscription files tab. Here you will find links to download all previously generated subscription files. You can also select multiple subscription files and download them simultaneously. These are then saved in a ZIP file.
