Would you like to receive an email when, for example, a tax assessment notice, unloading permit, transfer or technical or functional error has been received? Here's how to specify which events will trigger Import Filing: ATLAS to send an email to selected recipients.
Set up email notifications
- Select Master data > Notification configurations and click New.
- First, tick the Active check box so that you can subsequently receive emails in your inbox. Confirm the notification message to acknowledge that this will trigger unencrypted communication or data transfer. Now enter a descriptive abbreviation Code and select a Context, e.g. "Customs declaration." For customs declarations, for example, you can choose to be notified about tax assessment notices, technical or specialist error messages, or whether a transfer has been received.
- Next click the New button and select whether you want to receive an email about the event, or whether the notification should be displayed as an AEB message in the application. If you select AEB message, the user will receive a notification within the Assistant column on the application desktop.
- If you select E-mail, additional fields will be displayed, allowing you to enter different email recipients and make further configurations, such as a replacement email address.
If necessary, you can add conditions or exceptions to the notifications. In these cases, you will only be notified if, for example, certain recipients, buyers, or customs clearance offices are affected or not affected. To do so, go to the Conditions tab.
Click Apply to save your settings and return to the configuration screen. When complete, click Save & close.
