How do I enter declaration data for a new export declaration?

The Declaration data section of fields is located on the Export declaration tab of an export declaration.

First create a new declaration using the New or New from template buttons.

This will create a new blank declaration (if using the New button) or partially completed declaration (if using the New from template method). The assistant will highlight mandatory fields in order of completion.

• Messaging route: Select the Messaging route from the drop-down list. This will depend on your connection method. If using CDS directly, this will be CDS. If you have a badge with a CSP, select the relevant badge provider.
• Decl. type (EU) - This will always be EX.
• Procedure type - This will depend on the process being used.
• Declaration type - This will depend on the process being used.

Note that this data can be templated.
