How do I shut a MUCR?

To shut a MUCR, and its associated DUCRs, follow the steps below.

Go to Customs > United Kingdom and select Consolidations (UK).

This will display your list of consolidations.

This list can be shown in a Simple view (as above) or in a Multi-line view (as below). To switch between the views, click on the button showing the alternative view option to the one currently in use.

The multi-line view will show a MUCR heading, and the consolidations that are associated with it, below.

To shut the MUCR, select the relevant consolidation (of UCR Type 'M') and click Open.

From the Assistant pane, select Send ILE shut request from the list of Actions, and confirm the prompt.

This will shut the master consolidation (MUCR) and all its associated DUCR declarations. Once shut the declarations will remain in the list, with a Status of Shut.
