With DELTA IE, changes in the format of the EORI number have been introduced.
New EORI numbers linked to a company's registered head office (SIREN) must be used for DELTA IE. This EORI number consists of 11 digits in total, with the first 2 digits being the 'FR' prefix, followed by a 9 digit SIREN number. All EORI numbers beginning with FR that are used for the parties of declarant, representative, exporter, consignor, consignee, carrier or additional supply chain actor must follow the 11 digit format.
Important actions required
- Apply for a new EORI-SIREN from the SOPRANO-EORI platform. Even if your company already has an EORI linked to its head office, but it still consists of 'FR' + 14 digits, you must apply via the SOPRANO-EORI platform for a new one. All companies of OEA (Opérateur Economique Agréé) are an exception, as they already have an EORI SIREN.
- You must create a new company entry via Master data > Companies. On the Customs data tab, create an entry and complete the Trader ID field with the new EORI number. Ensure that the SIRET number which was used for DELTA G is also entered in the SIRET field. This company should then be used for all DELTA IE declarations.
- All EORIs starting with FR can only be 11 digits long (in total)
- Keep the company record in master data that is used for DELTA G to avoid any loss of data, and to continue retrieving any outstanding messages after DELTA IE go-live.
