Converting terms of delivery

Proceed as follows:

• You must first define the terms of delivery in the master data: See Creating terms of delivery.
• You must have the role of I_CAI_EDITMASTERFILEDATA.
1. Go to Master data – Carrier configurations to open a carrier.
2. Switch to the Code conversions sheet.
3. Click Generate suggestion.
4. Open the code conversion.
   • You only need to define terms of delivery code conversions if the carrier requires it. If, after you click on Generate suggestion, the Terms of delivery sheet does not appear, then no conversion is needed. You can then close the conversion or switch to the Package types sheet to convert the package types if needed: See Converting package types.
5. On the Terms of delivery sheet, check whether all the terms of delivery you are using (left column) are included in the conversion list. Click New to add more terms of delivery if needed.
6. Finish by matching each entry to the appropriate Freight terms in the last column.
7. Click Save & close to save your changes.
8. Repeat these steps if you wish to enter more conversions for other carriers.
