Kernel 4.4: New Look & Feel for all Trade Compliance Management Products

With the April 2024 service pack, AEB has provided a kernel release update for all Trade Compliance Management products (Compliance Screening, Export Controls, License Management, and Risk Assessment). The update includes important technological enhancements and a revised look and feel. No functional changes or modifications has been released with this update.

There were no changes to interfaces and connections to other AEB applications (plug-in for SAP®, nXt apps, etc.). The add-ons for SAP® and Salesforce® do not need to be updated.

For on-premises customers, the service pack will be ready to be installed since April 26. Please install it promptly, as future service packs will be based on the April service pack. Support can also only be provided on the basis of a current service pack status. If your application’s patch level is older than 6 months, we recommend that you install at least the November 2023 service pack before you install the update. Important information on the installation and general requirements are described in the following AEB Help Center article: Kernel 4.4: Preparing the update and implementation (on-premises installation)

Please ensure that the changed system requirements are met:

• Internet Explorer support is terminated
• Updating the SAP® Java Connector in AEB applications for communication via RFC
