Jobs automate recurring tasks in your application in the background. In Trade Compliance Management, this could be downloads of restricted party lists or automated email distribution, for example. If you operate Trade Compliance Management in your own data center and receive an email about an aborted job, you can fix it yourself as follows:
Do you have administrator rights? Then go to the Administration – Background calls and open the Job overview. Filter by the “Aborted” status. Do not apply any Client or User filters.
Now you should see all the aborted jobs.
Then proceed as follows:
If the aborted job is a compliance-related job (e.g. an email that a Good Guy was created), AEB recommends to repeat the job. Restart the job using the Execute batch with Execute now button:
In the case of a technical job (e.g. deletion of old log entries), AEB usually recommends deleting it, since an identical job will be restarted at a later time. Cancellation is done with the Cancel button.
