The following master data is maintained through the AEB data service if you have licensed the appropriate options, such as Export Controls EU jurisdiction.
You can also add your own master data here. Some of this master data requires a special authorization, such as one of the roles I_Admin or I_Clientadmin.
- The I_ADMIN role is available only with on-premise installations.
- The data service histories let you see which changes the data service has made to the master data.
Master data | Explanation |
---|---|
General licenses | General licenses that are provided through the data service encompass the following, depending on the business services you have licensed:
|
EU export control list | The EU export control list contains top-level export control numbers. Depending on what you have licensed, the list contains the EU dual-use list and/or the numbers from the German export control list. The list is updated by the AEB data service. |
Commerce Control List | The Commerce Control List contains all top-level ECCNs defined by the Export Administration Regulation (EAR). The list is updated by the AEB data service. |
Commodity groups | A commodity group consists of various goods that are subject to the same export controls. |
Country groups | Country groups are made up of countries that share export control attributes. They can require a license for a certain commodity group or can be subject to a limited embargo, for example. |
* The lawmakers’ wording of many general licenses is such that they cannot immediately be screened automatically. However, you may still be able to automatically screen general licenses making use of company-specific features. If you also use License Management, you can additionally maintain these licenses in your licenses for export transactions and movements for this purpose.
