How do I export and import template selectors?

Template selectors can be exported and imported between systems so that template selectors created and tested in the test system can be copied to the production system. Templates can also be exported and imported.

Exporting a template selector

To export a template selector follow the steps below:

• From the Office menu, go to Master data and select Templates.
  
• Select the option for export declaration template selectors or import declaration template selectors.
• Select the required template selector to be exported.
• From the Template selectors menu, choose Export template selectors.
• An XML file will be created in your downloads folder. The filename will consist of 'templates-' and the ID of the template selector (e.g. templates-2.xml).

Importing a template selector

To import a template selector, follow the steps below.

• From the Office menu, go to Master data and select Templates.
  
• Select the option for export declaration template selectors or import declaration template selectors.
• From the Template selectors menu, choose Import template selectors.
  
• Select the declaration template XML file to be imported.
• The template will then be shown in the list. The ID of the template selector may differ to the original ID, as the next available ID number will be assigned, but all other details will be the same.

Templates can also be exported and imported.
