Mapping tables allow you to specify values for certain fields more precisely and flexibly. This refers to the values that are complemented with the help of templates during data transfer from a host system. For example, you can define a specific customs office of exit based on the country of export and the country of destination.
To use a mapping table, assign it to the template of your choice. To apply the template, it must be opened by a template selector. Read more in the section Defining template selectors.
Proceed as follows:
- You must have created the mapping table (Master data – Templates – Mapping tables). You can also import it as a CSV file.
- Go to Master data – Templates – Exp. decl. templates and open the template of your choice.
- On the Export declaration template sheet, go to the Dynamic value initialization field group and click New.
- In the Dynamic value initialization window, select the Mapping table entry and click OK.
- In the Mapping table window, select the mapping table and click OK to confirm.
- Click Save & Close to save.
