If you work with Compliance Screening or Export Controls in SAP®, it is possible that unnecessary checks are performed in your system. These create additional system load and can also lead to unnecessary matches.
The most common cause of an excessive check volume
The most common cause of an excessive check volume is due to mass data changes (e.g., date changes in deliveries, major updates to master data records).
In the article Which SAP® users (dialog or batch users) trigger the most checks?, you can learn more about how to find out which SAP users are responsible for the majority of checks.
In the simplest case, you maintain the job user that performs the mass data changes (step user) in the user exclusion list, whose changes to business objects never trigger a check. Go to AEB Cockpit: Customizing – Check and add it to the exclusion list.
Reducing the check volume
You can find out how to reduce the check volume here:
- Searching the check volume in the billing monitor
- When are SAP® business objects checked by Compliance Screening and Export Controls?
- How is the check volume for Compliance Screening or Export Controls configured in SAP®?
