Here you will find a concise summary of the most important new features of all AEB products delivered with the service packs of the past three months. With the monthly service packs, AEB updates your applications and implements optimizations.

Customs Broker Integration

If you view and process your customers’ broker instructions manually in the Customs Broker Portal, an improved display of the broker XML file now makes your daily work easier. The broker file is now displayed directly in the application on the new Broker file sheet (read-only). You can use the Import broker file button to clearly display all the data of the transmitted XML file in the system. Details of broker instruction items can also be opened in this view.

Customs Management

For all customs processes (export, import, transit), a new Overview sheet is now available in the customs declarations, which gives you a compact overview of the progress and current status of your declaration. Certain actions (e.g. printing documents, sum check) can be carried out directly in this sheet.

In Export & Import Filing (NL), the Goods location field group has been extended so that it complies with the current EU requirements. Another UI change concerns transport data such as transport equipments, which you now report in a separate Transport sheet. In this new sheet, you will now also find the Port notifications field group, which also offers you new options for the automated creation of port notifications.

Product Classification

Our developers have been busy and have significantly improved the definition of rules for automation. The new rules that you can define are more powerful than the previous mapping rules, and you no longer need any programming knowledge for them, as was previously the case for the business rules. As part of this change, all the options you have for automation have been brought together in the Office under Automation.

The creation of classification profiles, which you need for certain connections to a host system, has been simplified.

In an approved classification value, the function of the button for your next action has been changed to Create subsequent value, because this makes most sense as a next step if you want to change an already approved classification value.

Trade Compliance Management

Match handling has been optimized in Compliance Screening. If you use the US Entity List, Compliance Screening can now also check the new entries with addresses without names.

The German export control list was updated for Export Controls. You can now also transfer the new longer national dual-use numbers for screening.

• A new version of the data service file was created in the data service for this purpose. The previous version will continue to be maintained until September 16, 2024.
  Make sure that you install the latest service pack by September 16, 2024 at the latest in order to continue receiving updates via the data service.

In License Management, optimizations have been made in the approvals.

In the add-on for SAP®, you can now take address IDs such as a DUNS or tax number into account during compliance screening and display them. In the Compliance Monitor, you can now configure the maximum number of matches displayed per user.
