- Only tenant admins have access to access management of AEB accounts.
As a tenant admin, you can use access management to view which systems are defined for your AEB products and control who has access through their AEB account to the AEB products assigned to your tenant.
Manage accounts
Create an AEB account
- Log in with your AEB account at the AEB Home.
- In the Administration section, click Manage logins to open the access management for AEB accounts.
- Go to Accounts and click Create account.
- Enter the required account data.
- Click Save.
- The AEB account has been created.
- Under System access, select one or more systems to assign to the AEB account. (What system access rights are available?)
- Remember to assign system access rights for each AEB product and its test system.
- For each system access, use the Roles feature to assign people the appropriate roles. (What roles are available?)
- The tenant admin role is a top-level role. (How do I create an additional tenant admin?) All other roles are system-specific and created by assigning system access rights. (How do I assign system access rights?)
- Review the summary of the data you entered, then click Finish to create the AEB account.
- The AEB account has been created. The person for whom it was created will receive an email to activate the AEB account.
You can see under access management whether the AEB account has been activated.
- Green = activated
- Yellow = recommended action still pending
Assign system access to an existing AEB account
- Log in with your AEB account at the AEB Home.
- In the Administration section, click Manage logins to open the access management for AEB accounts.
- Under Accounts, click on the account to which you wish to assign one or more system access rights.
- Under System access, select the system for which you wish to assign a role. (What system access rights are available?)
- Remember to assign system access rights for each AEB product and its test system.
- Use the Roles feature to assign people the appropriate roles. (What roles are available?)
- The tenant admin role is a top-level role. (How do I create an additional tenant admin?) All other roles are system-specific and created by assigning system access rights.
- The system access is saved to the AEB account. The person assigned to the AEB account can now go to the AEB Home to access the AEB product or test system.
Appoint another tenant admin
The tenant admin role can be assigned right away when you create a new AEB account or later to an existing AEB account. (How do I create an additional tenant admin?)
Editing personal data in an AEB account
Under access management you can manage the personal data for the accounts assigned to your tenant and make any necessary changes. (How do I change personal data?)
Linking an AEB account with a host system
Do you want the roles of an AEB account to apply if the person uses the AEB product via a host system? Without a link, only the I_EVERYONE role is taken into account.
- Log in with your AEB account at the AEB Home.
- In the Administration section, click Manage logins to open the access management for AEB accounts.
- Under Accounts, click on the account you with to link with one or more host system accounts.
- Click on the pencil icon to edit the account.
- Select Show advanced settings.
- Under Link host system, enter the ID of the host system to be linked.
- The ID usually corresponds to the login name of the host system.
- Click Save.
- The accounts are now linked. The roles of the AEB account apply if the person uses the AEB product or test system via a host system.
