Once you have carried out an address check manually, automatically, or via file upload, and matches have been reported, you need to check whether your verified address is actually a sanctioned address. Record your decisions in Trade Compliance Management by marking the matches as processed, or defining them as good guys.
Open Compliance Screening > Address match processing. The overview shown there can be customised using the various filter settings. By default, the matches that have not been processed are displayed.
You can view the details of your check by opening the entry. On the Check result tab, you will find further information on the checked address and information on the prohibited addresses found. On the Check information tab, you will find details of the Check settings, e.g. against which restricted party lists the check was carried out and which similarity threshold was used.
- Note: If you would like to find out why the address was matched, you can start a new check with analysis via the menu item More actions > Check again with analysis.
When you open the restricted party address, you will find the corresponding source of the entry on the Restricted party list information tab.
-
If Your Address Does Not Match the Restricted Party Address
Define your address as a good guy. If the same address is checked again, it will be recognised as a good guy the next time it is checked and you will not receive a match.
-
If Your Address Matches the Restricted Party Address
Contact your export control officer and take the organisational measures required outside of Compliance Screening. Use the Mark as 'processed' option to record the decision made in the form of a comment.
Please note: If the address is checked again, it will be reported as a match again.
To Reset Incorrect Processing
If you have incorrectly labelled an address as a match, or defined it as a good guy, you can reset the processing.
To find the address match again, set the filters to Processed, or Good guy defined, and if necessary, also adjust the time period. When you have found the entry, open it by double-clicking it.
After opening the entry, you can reset the processing status via More actions > Undo processing.
