Before you can define an address as a good guy, at least one Good Guy list must exist. When defining a good guy, select the list to which you want to add the address.
Go to Compliance Screening > Good Guy lists and select New.
Enter a name for the list and then select the required Deletion settings and Check settings.
Deletion Settings
Determine whether good guys with condition should be deleted automatically after a certain time.
- Please note that good guys with condition can only be defined via the API from source systems and not in normal manual single address checks or file checks.
In the add-on for SAP context, the condition is by default the reference number of the business object.
Matches can be defined as good guys with a condition if the check address is only to be evaluated as a non-match in one context (e.g. for this one order, delivery etc.)
Check Settings
Good guy lists are checked each night against changes to the restricted party list. If there are changes that relate to your address defined as a good guy, a 'good guy alarm' is triggered. This is the case, for example, if a new address is published in the list, or if there are changes to an existing address in the list.
The Good Guy list is checked on the basis of the profile that you define as the check profile.
Decide what should happen in the event of a good guy alarm. If good guy alarms cannot be processed promptly on a regular basis, it is advisable to delete the good guys. You will then receive a critical result at the next check, and possibly a block. If you do not process the good guy alarms for a long time and keep the good guys, there is a risk that you will not notice any relevant changes in time.
