If you have defined an address as a good guy, no more matches will be reported for this address in future address checks. However, this applies only if the checked address matches the defined good guy address 100%.
All defined good guys are checked by AEB every night. They are checked against the profile that you have defined in the respective Good Guy list.
You will receive an alert if there has been a change to an existing restricted party list entry, or if a new entry has been published on a restricted party list that relates to the good guy address.
As with the processing of an address match, you must compare the new or changed address with your checked address.
- If there is still no match, you can keep the address as a good guy.
- If there is a match with the banned address, you can delete the good guy.
This means that no logs, evidence, or processing comments from previous checks of the address defined as a good guy are lost.
Have you Received Several Good Guy Alarms for the Same Address?
Check your Good Guy list to see if there are multiple spellings of an address. The more entries you define for the same address, the more good guy alarms you will receive.
- Note: Make sure that you transfer any existing address data consistently from your partner system.
