With Trade Compliance Management, in addition to the official restricted party lists, you can also take manual restricted party lists into account during a check. For example, you may wish to be notified of addresses with which you do not wish to maintain a business relationship.
When you open Compliance Screening > Restricted party lists, a manual restricted party list can be created via the New button. Give the new list an ID, name, and description. Click Save and close, and then either:
- Open the new list, select the Addresses tab, and add the desired addresses manually.
- Or import the restricted party list as a CSV file.
The Import restricted party list button is used to import a restricted party list as a CSV file. AEB Support will be happy to provide you with the interface description on request.
The addresses added to a manual restricted party list are not available until the next day, as the address pool is automatically updated overnight, therefore, if checking one of the manually added addresses, you would only receive a match from the following day onwards.
Note: By default, the list contents of the existing manual restricted party list are deleted during data import and replaced by the new data imported. As a result, addresses will not be available until the following day. Deactivate the Delete list content option if you want to add the contents of the manual restricted party list to the existing restricted party list. When de-selecting this setting, make sure that you do not import any duplicates to existing data.
To ensure that your manual restricted party list is taken into account during the check, you must also add it to your compliance profile.
