You can delete master data even if it has already been used in transaction data. This removes longer texts such as multilingual names and descriptions, even in questionnaire templates and questionnaires that have already been filled in. The master data ID is retained, however, making it possible to identify the original significance of the field.
Example: The partner role with the “Freight Forwarder” ID is deleted. This deletes the multilingual descriptions “Freight Forwarder” and “Spediteur”: Questionnaire templates and filled-in questionnaires will only show the ID.
Proceed as follows when deleting master data:
- Depending on the type of master data to be deleted, you must have the roles of Compliance Administrator, Client Administrator, and/or Risk Assessment Administrator.
- From the Office, click on Master data.
- In the overview, select the master data you wish to delete, then click Delete.
- Select the radio button Delete only if the entries are not used in transaction data.
- If this master data has already been used in transaction data, you will now see an overview of such instances.
- Update the affected questionnaire templates to reflect the new master data.
- Now, when you delete this master data, you can select the radio button Delete without examining the use in transaction data.
