Processing address matches

Proceed as follows:

1. Select Compliance Screening – Match handling.
   • This opens an overview of address matches and Good Guy alarms based on the filter criteria you have specified above the list.
   • Alternatively, click on the Start processing link in the Address matches widget on the desktop.
2. Highlight the address match of your choice and open it.
3. Verify whether the checked address is identical to one of the restricted parties listed below.
• If you screen against Dow Jones restricted party lists, you will now find a small table of contents with links on the Restricted party address data sheet if you scroll down when displaying a restricted party address from the Dow Jones content. Click on a link to open the corresponding information on the Dow Jones original data sheet.
• If the addresses are identical, you must cease all business relations with this address. Take the necessary organizational steps outside of Compliance Screening, then document that you have processed this match. See Procedure in the event of a match.
• If the addresses are not identical, define the address as a Good Guy. The next time compliance screening runs, this address will no longer be flagged as a match. See Defining an address as a Good Guy.
4. Printing the check result: Select the Print menu.
   • Compliance Screening creates a PDF document with the check result and opens it in a separate tab of your browser.
     From there, you can print the check result.

• If you are screening against restricted party lists that consolidate several sanctions lists, you can – for a better overview – display the columns Original list name and/or Restriction source and sort the entries of the table by this column by clicking on one of the table headings.

• Details on checking addresses can be found under Analyzing a match in the analysis mode.

• If a restricted party list entry such as the ship “Christina” triggers numerous false matches and you can take the organizational steps to ensure that you do not do business with this entity, you can add the address to a whitelist: See Adding a restricted party to a whitelist.

Undo processing

Proceed as follows to reset the processing of an address match:

1. Display more criteria in the Match handling overview.
2. Select the "Processed" entry in the Processing field.
3. Open the desired match and select the More actions – Reset processing menu.
   • If you defined Good Guys during processing, you can now decide whether you want to delete them, deactivate them, or leave them as they are. An overview shows you in which Good Guy lists the Good Guys have been included so far.
