With the two value-added services "E-mail notification (Exceptions)" and "E-mail notification (Ship & Delivery)", you set up e-mail notifications to monitor the status of critical UPS shipments.
If the shipments are particularly important, enable the value-added services before printing the label:
- Open the carrier configuration for UPS.
- Switch to the Value-added services sheet.
- Enable the value-added services "E-mail notification (Exceptions)" and/or "E-mail notification (Ship & Delivery)".
- Finally, store the e-mail address in the address data of the consignee address under
Contact person – E-mail in the shipping order. The contact person will then receive the notifications.
